    Yeah the yellow duck does look better gone. On the "try this scenario" what do you think of closing in the left side to get rid of the small gap between bridge pillar and frame, ie have the pillar on the left be the edge of the photo. Just a thought. Good photo, especially for that time of day, where's the smog.

    I believe that the presence of the boat is not just annoying, had it not been for the colour. How about adjusting the colour? In the first picture, the boat is in the shadow of the bridge, and the colour more pleasant. But you could choose whatever colour you like. This would be easier to do than cloning, and probably not leave any "photoshop traces".
