A new little one in our family.

We have a brand new little boy. His name is Joseph Walton Wright (Joey). I've"only" taken seven to eight hundred shots since he was born tuesday afternoon []. I've been mostly trying to capture to moment but I plan to put some effort into getting some better ones after we get home. I'll probably be making post soon soliciting advise on how to improve my skills in newborn photography. This is one of my wife's favorites.

    I know it's no technical masterpiece but I <span style="text-decoration: line-through;"]likelove it.

Outstanding! Congratulations! Now this should give you an excuse to tell the wife you need to pick up a few fast primes to photograph little Joey BTW, do you shoot in JPEG or RAW? If RAW a simple WB correction in DPP could help this image out a bit

I've shooting in jpg because of the outragious file size. This shot was withmy XSi with a50mm f1.8 II @ 1.8 iso1600. I've also been using my Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 when light was sufficient.
