Only if you raised the ISO to have a narrower f-stop.

    since the guitar and strings didn't move at all, why didn't you use slower shutter speed so you can lower you ISO to reduce noise? in your case, you can use 1/25/f2.8/ISO200 instead of 1/100/f2.8/ISO800, the DOF will be the same. maybe you had to hand hold your camera?

    ISO does not affect DOF, it is purely a function of the camera's sensetivityto light.

    I still don't were this misconception came from, you raise ISOof thecamera not the lens. I never saw the lens close it's aperture when I raise the ISO.[^o)]

    @JJphoto, Fast Glass:

    I was hand holding, I realize the camera would change ISO, just attempting to explain that ISO would only need to be increased if wanting to use a narrower f-stop in a low light situation. If I had a tripod handy i would

    What do you think [A] I'm in a totally good mood. Since it's autumn here and it gets visible with it's beautiful colors popping out of the ground and beautiful skies...it's also a season of very good seasonal beers which has to be celebrated [:P]
