Using camera raw CR2 files in Photoshop2

When I imported my raw files from my new Canon Rebel T2i into Photoshop 2, the CR2 files were not recognized.

How can I use Digital Photo Professional to convert the CR2 files to .psd files for Photoshop?

    Thanks, CMA

You mean to tell me you can't even see the thumbnails of you images in DPP?

DPP should have no problems opening the CR2 files since it was developed for Canon RAW CR2 files. If it is not opening them and you cannot see them in DPP then there is something wrong with DPP and you should probably try to re-install it.

There is another thread somewhere here recently that reminded me of something. You might try and see if converting your images to DNG will help. You will need to download the DNG converter to do that.
