oooh that looks good, and if your Melting Pot is anything like the one here in Chicago then that was an expensive assignment.

Hi. These are the three courses of a meal I had in Greece. I've never really done food photography before, it's great fun (except you tend to make a bit of a spectical of yourself with the camera at the dinner table).

This is the image I want to enter.. The Main Course

Ah nice shots. I don't really have any plate shots.

    Anyway my entree:

    50mm, f10, ISO-100, 1/200s with a 430EX2 from the right and the MR-14EX from left front.

I was trying to copyan idea from the intro movie from the TV-series Dexter. They slice trough an orange and it "splashes" tiny drops of juice. Well this was the best I could get, since the fruit wasn't juicy enough(or I did something wrong which seems just as plausible ):

Hope I'm not too late to enter.

I was just snacking on some dark chocolate when I saw this thread.

It's all about the garnish. it would be like me without make-up or Sean without fishnets.

Second one can be my submission.

The thing I like least about this shot was that it was cold by the time I had finished food styling. That egg just wouldn't work with me.

    Thanks for viewing,

    Steve

Alright we have passed the final submission date so any new submissions won't take part in the competition.

Thanks to everyone for taking part and sharing your photos[]

Now it's up to Sean Setters to select the finalists and the voting begins.

    Cheers,
