    Great shots everyone. In particular, Steve,great night shot, Denise, your grand daughter throwing snowballs at the snowman is hilarious and conrupl, I like #2.

    Brant - Great work with the birds in flight... that must have been a lot of fun. Here's one from last week in Calgary:

    Canon 5D2, 70-200 mm f/2.8 lens, 1/2000 sec @ f/4, ISO 200, fill flash at -2/3 EV to illuminate the sign

    Some really nice photos here! Looks like some of us are starting to experience some better weather to get out and shoot more!! Minus 25 degrees here last week but by Thurs. we should be hitting +50 degrees!!! YIPPEEE!!

    Great shots everybody!! I like the cityscape shots Steve! And just as another reminder...and not to rub it in, but there is sunshine besides Aussie land...this last weekend at the beach was fantastic here in Santa Cruz!! A few shots to attest...

    Canon 50D + 60mm 2.8 @ 60mm f11 2.5" ISO-100


    Took this today... was throwing out some old computer parts that were WAY out of date and thought to snap a few of this old sound card. I didn't have the time today to get set up the speedlights so I took this with the help of a directional lamp. (hence the 2 second exposure).
