Look who showed up in my backyard!

I was actually about to head out, saw him running across my front yard. Of course, I ran to get my camera. Must have jumped my neighbors fence and I caught him in my backyard.

A few last images of my trip to Banff National Park. For those wondering, there is a conference I attend regularly in Banff in October. It went virtual in 2020, but was back on in 2021 with pretty stringent protocols. But, I was able to attend this year. A few last pictures....

This is the Three Sisters Viewpoint. Which cracks me up a bit that you can find it officially on google maps as it is not really an official viewpoint, but rather a bend in the river created by floods a few years ago. When Jonathan first showed me the spot a couple years ago, there were a couple other people there. The Saturday morning after the conference, it was a wall of people....but..

It's always fun to hang out with a guy who comes for a visit and completely kicks your butt with the photos he gets . Looking forward to next year!

Ha ha yes! But I think you also had the right settings before you dropped it.... that's clearly the difference

    ISO 20000

Yup! Even when you think it's waaaay too dark out to get a shot, just keep shooting! Photographed last week near Jasper National Park.

    1DX3, 500 mm f/4 lens, 1/100 sec @ f/4, ISO 20,000
