Paid a visit today to Alberta's newest provincial park, Glenbow Ranch. It is just outside Calgary, and has an excellent array of pathways. There appear to be lots of great sunset opportunities here... I'll be back!

This isn't the most creative pic, but I really like the way the background melted away. It really screams "couldn't do that with a point and shoot".

Been a while; I've forgotten how much I enjoy you guys' work! Those star trails are just awesome!

My girl turned two today, so figure I'd share a current shot. I took this yesterday as she was "daydreaming" while staring out the window. 7D, 35mm f/1.4L @ f/2.0, 1/50s, ISO 100.

Wow that 35m L is smooooooth. Your little girl's a cutie too.

I bought the 35mm f/2.0 on Friday, here's one of my favourite shots with it so far:

Everything I shoot with it feels either like a retro shot, or a still from a film.

I know exactly what you mean. And beautiful shot! I'm sure you'll have a ton more.

Last week, we had record-breaking high temperatures for March in Scotland. It got up to 23.6°C (74°F) not far from here. But last weekend the wind changed, bringing weather from the Arctic so yesterday I woke up to find my back garden looking like this:

    5D Mark II, EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM @ 24mm, f/4, 1/30s, ISO 100
