From the recent eclipse, taken in Newport, VT.

The central image of the composite is itself a merge of two exposures, one for the corona and the other for Baily’s beads. It occurs to me that while corona + Baily’s makes a nice image, Corona + Bailey’s would make a truly disgusting cocktail.

A few of my other eclipse pictures. Taken outside of Austin, Texas (Spicewood).

This shot was taken shortly after the above and you can see how we were battling clouds right up until totality. Fortunately, we had a couple of clear moments during totality.
