Steve - I really like that shot.

Thanks Pat and others for comments, the night shot wasn't tweaked at all, I just had to rotate it a bit because my tripod was on a pretty steep hill and I hadn't set it up good enough.
Thought I would throw a shot of part of my back yard, with one dog, clothes hanging on the line, dog blanket on the fence and a few Aussie native shrubs that bring the lorikeets in. Oh and that green stuff, wellwe call that grass, everything over there seems to be covered in white stuff, thought I would give everyone a reminder just in case in some places they haven't seen it in a while

Brant - Great work with the birds in flight... that must have been a lot of fun. Here's one from last week in Calgary:
Canon 5D2, 70-200 mm f/2.8 lens, 1/2000 sec @ f/4, ISO 200, fill flash at -2/3 EV to illuminate the sign

Some really nice photos here! Looks like some of us are starting to experience some better weather to get out and shoot more!! Minus 25 degrees here last week but by Thurs. we should be hitting +50 degrees!!! YIPPEEE!!
Brant - I
Steve, loving those shots. Always wanted to visit Australia, never had the opportunity though.
Here are some shots you may be able to relate to more than most of the people who follow this thread. I play rugby at a high school level in Minnesota, and a few of my coaches are on St. Paul's team, the St. Paul Pigs, so I went to their match today and got some pretty good shots.
All of these were shot with a Canon T1i and my 70mm-210mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens.
