Tonight's full moon. Handheld, manual focus using my 100-400mm w/ EF 1.4x II. Guess I need alittle more work on that manual focusing!

All shot with a 7D this morning. Silver lake in the forground and Lake Michigan would be on the other side of the dunes.

Keep the dog theme going, little bit hotter in Queensland at 35 Celcuis.

Went to a fundraiser for the RSPCA ( cruelty prevention) and took some snaps of the puppies. First off a display of the RAAF defence dogs trained to hold and detain.

And something a little bit sweeter, an agility trained poodle. I wish i had something this smart to sit next to when I was in school.

    Thanks for viewing.

Denise, I know this was handheld, but if you had your tripod handy, they live view focus will still focus anything up to f/11 I believe. I use that when I use my stacked tc if I am having trouble with manual focusing. Great shot however. Lots of detail.
