@ Bryan King - Great shot, I love how the sail is so crisp against the fog.

@ Gian Luca - Amazing shot!

Came across an old, but interesting part of a market (Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne) and took this pix with 7D 18-55mm f2.8.

First off, fantastic photos from everyone. Every time I check back here it seems that the photos keep getting better and better.

Here are a few of the senior photos I have got this year so far:

Ah! Chris! I WANT that lens so bad. It

Gian, your shots are absolutely beautiful! I love the comp in this one, not to mention the light (angle and color), and the birds. They really give the photo its feeling for me...."the welcome home after a hard day's work....". Your gear is beautiful too

Just curious: what all did you do for post-processing? I'd love to see the original too!

    Cheers,

    Thank you Damian.

I shoot in raw, the light was very nice at the sunset. After opening the file in PS I worked on levels and curves to find the right contrast. Then I worked on the color increasing it selectively, I liked to have more saturation on the boat and on the sky, but not on the sea. At the end I added some vignetting in order to focus the attention on the boat.
