Assignment 21: Unique Perspective WINNER: freelanceshots

UPDATE: freelanceshots won the "Unique Perspective" contest. He should now contact Jan to arrange the next assignment's topic.

Congratulations to Nick (nvitalephotography) for winning assignment 20. He has selected for this assignment "Unique Perspective.

    In his own words:

    For this assignment I
propose a subject (broader than the last few assignments) of unique
angles/perspectives.<span> Its easy to go out
and photograph familiar subjects in the same way and then end up having many of
them have a very familiar feel to them.<span>
So go out and climb a ladder, get down on the ground, show us something
that makes us all say &ldquo; wow,<span> I never
    thought of photographing that subject like that.&rdquo;

Submissions will be open till May 22.

Please include EXIF data if you have it!

If you want to put more than one picture up please specify which will be your official entry into the assignment. Otherwise we will assume that it is the first picture in a post.

    Thanks!

    And now, the finalists:

<p class="MsoNormal"]<span style="font-size: 11pt; color: #1f497d;"]motivation: I love the symmetry of this photo and love how the tower is silhouetted against the sky.

    <p class="MsoNormal"]<span style="font-size: 11pt; color: #1f497d;"]Motivation:
this shot looks so natural and pleasing that it wasn't initially
obvious to me that is was photographed from a unique angle and that's
why I think this unique perspective is so great.

    <p class="MsoNormal"]<span style="font-size: 11pt; color: #1f497d;"]
    Motivation:
It seemed like many peoples interpretation of this assignment was to
get low and photograph the subject looking up. This is probably my
    favorite of those.

    Motivation:
I think this one captured the idea of the assignment perfect. Its a
very unique shot and I would have never thought of photographing a fly
    like this.

I would have like to get a shot of you swinging on that chandelier.

Did you use a ladder or tall tripod and a TS-E 17mm f/4 lens?
