    Assignment 23: Balance Congrats bgood

Good Morning All! William who won the previous assignment has gotten me the information for the new assignment! He wants us to think of Balance. In his own words:

<span>"The brief will be to captureBalance. It can be anything you choose however a cliche like a spinning-top or the Leaning Tower of Pizza should receive a unique spin or a different slant (Yes that was intentional)."

William suggested taking a look at this picture by Bob Williams for inspiration.

It's been a month or two since I've been on here, missed this site. Haven't stopped snapping away though. Lately my interest has been people. (Starting to control my nerves when I approach people, finally!) Also, just finished my first paying photo shoot!

Neither here, nor there. Love the theme for this assignment and have a feeling it's going to be a tough one. Happened to take some that fit the bill just a couple of weeks ago.

Well this one isn't going to win any awards, but it was fun to see what could be made usable from a slightly over-exposed, slightly shaky, random snap when my missus was fooling around.

    Nice topic!

I tried to get my daughter to do a headstand but she shockingly said no! So, here's my submission ...at least until I can talk her into it!

Trampoline jumping offers some nice photo opportunities. My kids that usually hide from the camera are a lot less reluctant to being photographed when jumping on a trampoline. When they're jumping it's more like "dad, take a pic of me doing this cool thing" than the usual "hey, put that thing away".

This photo is from a trampoline series of pictures of my daughter. Actually I initially marked this photo as "trash" due to lack of eye contact (somehow you've got to narrow down the 25 photos from a series to a few), but at a second glance I noticed the kind of fun perspective with the woodshed in the background.

Trampoline jumping itself requires good balance and body control, and additionally it probably requires quite some balance to be standing tiptoe on top of a roof.
