Does anyone use Vimeo or similar type of site to show their video?

I just opened an account with Vimeo[:|] to show my (mainly family photos) in a Video Slide Show inc of music in HD format.


Feed back that I got from family and friends is that still photos are great and very popular. However they seem to prefer to see a video slide show with music as that give them a story.


What are your thoughts regarding this format.


Look forward hearing some feed back.

Incorporating music into the viewing of images gives you another chance to get a particular emotion across.

I've been using both Vimeo and YouTube to show my Time Lapse and other animations for a few years now. YouTube is more popular since it's better know world wide, but sometimes I think Vimeo retains quality a little better.


You can also use Google Plus if you have an account there already. It's free and you can store unlimited Videos up to 15 minutes per video and 1080p.
