    San Francisco's Lombard Street. One foggy summer evening.


    Canon 7D. 10-22 Canon EFS at 10mm. f/9 for 10 sec. ISO 160. EV -7/3. Bottom right foliage brought out of silhouette using my headlamp.

    Wow Erno, nice use of your headlamp. Added a ton to the pic. this is great! I like how some of the other buildings are subdued compared to the building on the left. Was that done in post?

    Thanks guys. The subdued bldgs were like that because we shot this near midnight. I think some homes are not as well lit than others. Rocco, go buy that lens. I hesitated on it for months, thinking I would just rent it to see if i liked it. As I have taken a liking to landscapes, it

    Ehh, it's not a favourite but these competitions are only fun if lots of people play. Surprisingly few of my current shots fit the brief

    On my ship-based tour of the Scottish Hebrides this past spring, we cruised around the remote island of St. Kilda by zodiac. We came across this cave, and were astonished at the amazing light coming in from all angles. I used a Canon 5D2, with 24-70 f/2.8 lens, 1/80 sec @ f/4, ISO 3200. No artificial light was used in the shot.
