Adobe, give us courage to edit what photos must be altered, serenity to delete what cannot be helped, and the insight to know the one from the other.

This will also be my submission.. for now. It's the only thing I have right now that even kind of fits the subject. The water was like glass. I am also planning on going to take some fresh ones for this assignment, though. Sounds like fun! (also forgive the way I post the image, trying a few different ways.)

Yep, me too. Did you take that with a Zeiss 35/1.4 and not a 100L?

Not sure which I want to be my submission, <edit: I think i'll enter number 2, the pyramid>.
The first shot is my first Book Cover (book's coming out next year). It's about a group of drunken poets, hence the wine glass. Took it with a nifty fifty one night and the publishers liked it for the cover (kind of helps when my GF wrote the book), low-DOF and crap-lighting intentional. This is just a shrunken version of the camera-jpg, not sure how they edited it for the book (I gave them a few options of raw-converted tiffs but also the rawfile).

I'm also tempted to put this one in, one of the first shots with the Single Glass optic for my Lensbaby when I got it, at a place called Crazy Pianos.
Strangely enough, I've seen this sight in a pub before, but without the aid of a lensbaby, just booze.

ps, @Jan, I'll definitely second that Hertog Jan is the best, although have you tried the Hob Goblin? Only place I know that definitely has it is the North End english pub in Leiden, I might have seen in somewhere in Den Haag of Scheveningen ook.

@Rocco - Like the shot. Where was it taken? (It sort of reminds me of a place near where I live)

@Dr. Croubie & Jan - Sometimes you can find bottles of Hob Goblin around here, and I'll agree that it is quite nice...never heard of Hertog Jan though. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

I couldn't decide between submitting a photo of my Canon glassware or my whisky glassware, so I decided to do both. Here's my Highland Park decanter, a Highland Park shot glass seen through my EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens, and a bottle of finest 30 year old single malt. I think this represents some of the best glass available anywhere!

    5D Mark II, EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM @ 70mm, f/11, 1/10s, ISO 400, 580 EX II flash bounced off ceiling.

In case you're wondering why there isn't any whisky in the shot glass, I had to turn it upside down to get this image.

HAHA. I don't know if I've ever heard of it. This would be my favorite of the three.

In northern Utah. This is the same spot where hundreds of bald eagles can be found in February.
