    Assignment 27 - Glass - Congrats CLS

For this assignment Erno James came up with: Glass.
Description: This one is open to interpretation; I am amazed at the creative minds that browse this site. To get us started, things like FAST glass, a BEER glass, or STAINED glass are but a sample of ideas.

Erno has selected the following finalists:

    Name: Rocco
Motivation: The beautiful landscape image of the snow capped mountain range reflected in the glass-like body of water shows how one can "think outside of the glass."
    Attachment 165

    Name: CLS
Motivation: Simple, elegant, and amazing how two wine glasses and perfect lighting make for a fine art piece. I could see this in a gallery.

    Name: rslhc
Motivation: The juxtaposition of the two glass towers perfectly creates the illusion of a complete building. Very creative indeed.

    Name:HDNitehawk
Motivation: The motion and anticipation of the rolling glass marble into its motionless equals crests great tension.

Congratulations finalists! The poll will be open for 3 days. Thanks for voting!

For the ones that are curious, this is a very nice tasty beer

Huh? When I think about it now, I'd rather be named Palm(man) instead of Paal(man), but hey I got no choice
On the other hand, I think the finest Dutch regular beer is Hertog Jan, which means Duke Jan in English. My name keeps getting more related to beer-brands now that I think about it

    Anyway, back to the glass!

Stained Glass ... with a twist

This is a window from St. Catherine Church in New Haven Ky. where my daughter was married in August. I attempted, with filters, to make it look like a flower.

I posted this in a previous assignment. To bad, it would have worked here. This won't be my submission, I like to take new pictures for the assignment.

What I am doing is clicking on the "go advanced" tab under the reply window then using the "paper clip" icon you can then upload images as attachments either from your computer or from a website.

I don't know the size limit but I have posted some more than 800 X 1000 pixels.

Go to your photo in your photostream. Above the photo there is a pop down menu "share". Click "grab the HTML/BBCode". Use BBCode Medium and copy the code in the box. Just paste it in your message and you're good to go.

I believe the forum width is 750pixels. So if you stay below that, your photo will probably show. If you use Flickr, the medium size of 640pixels wide works perfectly.

This will be my submission for now, but I hope to shoot something new for this assignment.
