Andy, I have been to Scotland only once and it is beautiful. I think you have captured it well!

Steve, the pier shots are really good. I like the first one you posted the best, due to the sunset.

    Magnificent vistas Franco.
Not quite as inspiring, but from a wander around Victoria Point this morning.

Nice capture Jonathan...I like the pastel like back ground colours and the crispness of the front part really makes it. Well done.

Wonderful shot. There was absolutely no wind it seems as the flowers in the foreground are sharp even with your 15 secs exposure. I really love the colours.

    Jonathan:
Another beauty. Great foreground, reflections, mountains...

I wish there was something other than flat land around here... you make me want to live by the mountains.

    Franco:
Yellowstone and the Tetons are beautiful places. I hope you will show more.

Thanks everyone --- I had this shot in mind for a while and I just needed to go and get it. The lack of wind was definitely nice for the photo, but it also meant that the mosquitoes were having a field day. I needed the 15 second exposure just to make sure they were blurred out of the image! It is a crazy year for the bugs... normally it's not anywhere near this bad. Pat you should think about making a visit to the mountains sometime --- I will give you a guided tour. Same goes for anyone else on the forum. September is the best month of all, so give it some thought! Just bring a bucket of deet.
