Seeking advice to convert this to 640 x 427. Looks tack sharp as a thumbnail though, so maybe I'll just leave it as is.

These old pilings in Sausalito provided a foreground with (from left to right) Treasure Island, Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge, and San Francisco in the background.

    Really enjoying this assignment!

Hi all, I am pretty much a newbie at photography. I have been absolutely loving it. Thank you for all your support as a community. I'm learning a lot from your knowledge and the assignments you set. You have to start somewhere... here are a few I have taken. Comments and suggestions are most welcome.

This assignment inspired me to finally try star photography that has been on my list for quite a while. I still have much to learn but I think this is a good start.

Haven't joined one of these assignments in a while, but I LOVE long exposure work, so it's perfect!

    Thanks for looking,

    Alex

    Some real beautiful shots here.

I had a specific shot in mind for this assignment, but we have not had any clear nights around he for quite a while now. So I will go with this one:

A little over 35 minute exposure pulled out some light from Lake Michigan (glow from sunset) which is on the other side of the dunes.

Hope I'm not too late to enter this four-second exposure of Bow Fiddle Rock:
