I have been invited to a demo in Brisbane tomorrow night of the pre-production models of the Nikon D800 and D4.
Should I go?? Is the dark side of the force calling??
Production models will be available in a couple of weeks they say, but just to demo.

If you get to get your hands on a copy, I would go. If you are going to sit in an auditorium and watch videos, I would wait and watch them on youtube. I expect them both to be excellent cameras and if they have faults, my guess is that you won't be allowed to do anything that would demonstrate those faults before they are released.
Overall, sounds fun to me......
Go... photography is a learning journey and you do not want miss out on an oppertunity to learn. Remember this is going to be an event full of other photographers and an oppertunity to meet people with simular intrests.

Steve; go and check it out. Can I have your Zeiss 21mm with the Canon mount since you probably won’t need it anymore?
