I've gone ahead and changed the thread title... I'm assuming nobody is going to dethrone Andy over the next couple hours. Congrats. Awesome pic.
Well...there are 167 active members and only 28 voted yet, so it could end up anywhere
Congratulations Andy, I already send you a message about the next assignment then
Yes fantastic shot, congratulations.
Now that the voting has officially closed, I'd like to thank everybody for the kind words and your votes. I guess the image really shows that we live in a "world of love" and that you can witness love wherever you travel. I'm really lucky to have had the opportunity to visit Antarctica and see an Emperor Penguin colony just a few weeks after the chicks hatched. I'm thrilled that you appreciate the results.
I feel a bit guilty about the number of votes I received because the other entries were also great shots and I don't think the final result is a fair reflection of their relative merits. Well done to all who entered.
I'm already thinking of the next assignment.
With a runaway photo as nice as that, i'm just thankful I got even 1 vote.
Nice job Andy!
*books trip to antarctica*
An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

Congratulations Andy!
Never mind, I misread
The next assignment is on it's way! Thanks Andy
