Talking #32 - World of Love (Congrats Andy Stringer)

On behalf of Wally (Bouwy) I present assignment number 32: The World of Love.

Description: This one may be freely interpreted. In other words: a photo of a Rose, photo of a group of people enjoying themselves, a portrait of someone you love, a photo of a vintage car or a building and or any photo that you feel represents LOVE. You're free (and encouraged) to describe your own photo or explain what "Love" is for you.

    From Wally:
"Thank you to all the participants for their entries.
All entries were absolutely fabulous and I did need to call in the troops (my wife and two sons) to make a final selection."

    The finalists:

    Name: DrCroubie
Motivation: The intensity and concentration of the kiss of little girl and the man not quite sure how to handle it...Priceless.

    Name: Conropl
Motivation: What a lovely expression of the little girl, and enjoying her Mum's.... Love.

    Name: Jayson
Motivation: What a capture this is...I don't have the words to describe this photo....but to put it simply.....Beautiful.

    Name: Neuroanatomist
Motivation: A spectacular colour full shot, with a simple yet beautiful expression of.......Love.

    Name
    : Andy Stringer
Motivation: Beautiful capture of true Love of nature.....Brilliant.

The poll will be open for 3 days. Good luck everyone!

At a mate's engagement party, the best friend of the groom with the daughter of the bride-to-be. She's the cutest little girl ever (but aren't they all?) and loves all of her parent's friends...

An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

Here's my entry. It's my girlfriend's father with his first grandchild on the day of her birth. He's a stoical man but his facial expression really gives him away. This was also the first time he'd held her, still in hospital.

Another kind of love... an obsessive love of snow... or, in fact, water in any form. In it's liquid form in pools, lakes, rivers, and sprayed from a hose. These are all great fun summer activities for our water loving dog. Her current favorite frozen and thrown from the shovel, though snowballs, and just generally munching on snow are all enjoyed activities. There are a few more on Flickr if you click through.

That photo made me smile, David. I know it's tacky and juvenile, but would you mind if I captioned it?
