Ahh, I feel your pain. We have 2 in private school and it is not pocket change. College even more. Wait until they are done and have them pay you back.

We are suppose to be 90 this weekend also. Going to be warm. Sad part is we were planning on moving next spring.

Crazy that the pocketwizards would have trouble. I be a firmware in the next week or so takes care of that though.

    Unboxed.... and loving it.

Only had about a 30 minutes to try and enjoy it last night and unfortunately I have to work every day.

So, it will have to be this afternoon before I can try it again.

I owe, I owe, So off to work I go.

Incidentally, the packaging it came in made me want to throw up.

I'll attach an image when I get home. Just knew it was gonna be broken.

Let me start this off by saying, I have never had trouble or other issues with BHphotos packaging. Ever, but what they chose to ship my 3500 dollar 5D3 is pretty amazing to me.

This is a picture of the box. After I opened it.

No padding, no bubble wrap..... Nothing.... I could hear the stuff in the 5D box sliding around when I picked up. That was immediately followed by an intense bout of nausea and anxiety.

Luckily, nothing seems to be malfunctioning at this point. Only time will tell if this remains true.

On a good note though. This is the first shot I took with the camera.

Mine, from buydig.com (I went with them because of free overnight shipping... it would have been about $80 from BH) came exactly the same way. I thought it was strange, too. But all seems well.

    Nice first pic!
