    Wettest 1/2 Marathon Ever

Sunday was the wettest and longest 1/2 Marathon I've ever shot. Moderate to torrential rain, 60F, 15-25 mph winds and gusts up to 30 mph. 4.5 hr cutoff time, but stretched to 5 hours. One of my guys nearly had hypothermia and it took me 2 hours to properly dry and clean my gear.

Funny thing is Saturday had 2 5Ks, I got roasted in them. I did stay pretty dry Sunday though.

I'll never be sure myself whether cool and wet race events are better or worse than some of the winter events when the North winds pick up and the white stuff starts drifting across the course. Both can get lonely and miserable.

Nice warm fire and Scotch wins my vote!!!
