    A Gila Wilderness day trip

My wife and I took a little day trip to the north end of The Gila Wilderness in New Mexico. I love this place and there is never a shortage of things to shoot. We were about 60 Miles north of the large (220,000 acre) fire that you may have heard about, so the smoke was a problem at times---but this is a beautiful place and if you ever have a chance to visit, you won't regret it.

Here are a few shots from the trip:

    RTH With Squirrel Lunch

    Pronghorn Buck

    Elk Cow

Same Elk Cow---She was looking for a modeling job

A couple more Elk---Young bull in the back just starting to grow this years antlers

Elk heard as you normally see them

Nice images Bob....looks like a really interesting place. I wondered where you were this weekend since we didn't see any HB shots
