    I'm guessing drops of water on a glass plate hovering above the m&ms?

    d'oh of course - lol my mind was envisioning a vertical orientation with drops falling.. was amazed at uniformity and motion capture....

    Great thoughts on the Skittles - Have seen the concept of the water drop focus on macro work often, but I like the unusual use on this subject matter -- For what it is worth, when my wife was told by her doctor to eat colorful food she replied "Skittles?" - he kicked her out of his office

    That's essentially it, except I used plastic wrap over a glass bowl and then shot the flash through the glass.

    Did I make the deadline? I didn't go out looking to shoot this, but after going through last weekend's shots, I thought I'd throw it into the pool. Just a single impromptu frame of Mama when she actually didn't turn away and, in about one second, kind of struck a pose.
