I believe it was the latter half of a 200m fly. His technique wasn't great, but it made for the more impressive photograph.

One from the archives, taken inside the White Swan Hotel in Gunagzhou, China. This one really showcases the IS capability of the 70-200 II - shot was handheld (freeholding, not braced) with a 1/2 s exposure.

    EOS 5D Mark II, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM @ 95mm, 1/2 s, f/5.6, ISO 100

Heatwave Refreshment by Denise Trocio ( www.dtrociophotography.com), on Flickr

It's a heatwave, care for a glass of refreshing ice water? Well, so much for the ice ...how about some cold water?
Reminder to self ...use fake ice next time for a photo shoot outdoors!

EDIT: I decided to use one of the first photos I took that still had some ice in it ...LOL!

Alright, this is the end of the entry-period. Any photos that will be entered from this point on will not be judged.
I will contact Claes to get started with the selection of the finalists. Good look all!

Luckily it's raining heavily outside and I'm having a friday off work, so I've had some time for selection of photos for the poll. And it did take me quite some time to select only five shots. Congrats to those of you who will soon be in the poll!

Jan, I think the title needs to be changed to voting.
