Panama City Beach - Me & David, my grandson taken by my wife.
Hi everybody, I'm back from a kind of non-photographic period and happy to jump right into this assignment ;-)
I really like taking pictures of how the light plays with the water; in this particular case the small movement of the surface created lines and circles of reflection from the sunlight.
Technical stuff is 5D2, 24-70L at 70mm, 1.0s, f/20, ISO 100 and a 64x ND (perhaps also a CPL, can't remember, even though I shot this last Friday).
Colin - I had not thought of shooting water that way.... full marks for creativity.
If you see me with a wrench, call 911
Erno - That's fantastic. I tried taking similar shots in the same area on my west coast tour in March, but didn't come close to your success. I know how hard it is to do this, and you nailed it. Thanks also for posting the details on the exposure & filter used. I'm presuming you had your rubber boots on for this!

I have been traveling, and have not had time to get out to shot for this assignment. So I went to the archives. Almost all my shots are with water so it was tough to chose.
So I picked this one because it has all three phases of water: Ice, Liquid, and the clouds would be Vapor (well technically the clouds are not a gas, but water droplets... but close enough).
