I was waiting for the opportunity to shoot someone shedding a single tear, but the opportunity never came.

Enjoy this camouflaged frog instead. (My entry)

And this nicely camouflaged painted turtle:

    And this incredibly non-camouflaged woodduck:

Haven't had a lot of time to shoot lately. So, when it rained and rained and rained here (finally) my wife convinced me to go outside and take a few shots. Here's one attempt.

Well, I don't get out of the backyard much, so here is my water shot. It has been so darn hot and dry that this is basically the only water around.

I was able to get out late last light to shot something for the assignment... so I will replace my previous entry from my archives with this shot taken last night.

10 minute exposure looking north along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The long exposure showed up the Northern lights a little:

    Anyway, this is my entry.

You don't get much time to take a breath when swimming for speed, especially in a pool. You might have more luck with open water swimming, as a lot of heads get raised for visibility, and breathing is generally done higher out of the water because of water height variation.

Your butterfly swimmer has a very strange technique going on. Was this is a 50m sprint by any chance? Or just the last part of a 200m?

Wow, I couldn't really get a feeling of the iceberg's size and then I saw the little bird near the water... impressive!
