    Went home early from work to get it right this time.

    Sun was above me now, lots of light.

    Set the camera to manual, Av5.6 100ISO 1/125 shutter. Think I'm satisfied now...

    You will find the folks on this forum to be some of the very most helpful on the entire net. patience, etc. There also several that have an understanding of the, dare I say, the quantum mechanics of the photon/sensor events so that however deep you want to go, there is someone waiting a willing to help and advise.
