Here's a photo of my wife I took today (You can't fully tell in the photo, but she is 30 weeks pregnant):

Congratulations! (Both to a good portrait and, mainly, to what you're about to experience in a couple of months or so.)

Congratulations James! You have some fun times ahead...sleepless nights, but fun times nonetheless.

Congrats James. Practice your indoor, low-light photography before the wee one arrives.

Love that first one Mark, I thought they only had movie theartres like that in movies.
That second last one is a great portrait shot.

I didn't. Just shot the one look. Didn't have very much time with him. For the most part it stayed pretty much like this. Boomed the speedlight to illuminate the hat though.

Towards the end I did feather the two einsteins behind him for a more edgy look. Kind of sinister. Was pleased with that one too.

Been unbelievably busy ever since I got these lights. Amazing how it put me back in creative mode.

Here are a couple from a session I'm editing right now. Taking a quick break. Two light setup, cross light, with my speedlight gelled with red, yellow, and cto in the fireplace to add the fire glow. flames were photoshopped in. Used the large soft box and 64" PLM with diffusion cloth.
