I love the colors! I think I like the first more, with the flowers stretching off into the distance.

One of the shots I took yesterday at the gulf.

Canon EX550 with bouncer was used on top of 400D.

I've revealed some more sky detail and corrected exposure in CS4.

Great shots Grizz and John. John I really like the emotion/feel of this shot. The composition, for me, is excellent. The background is nicely non-distracting too. Great job!

    Cheers

Here are some recent shots I took in the middle of one of our downtown streets. We were constantly having to let cars by.

Image 1: This young lady was in a group that happened to be passing by. I offered to shoot her, and she agreed. She was fantastic in front of the camera--a real natural.

Image 2: My good friend and new assistant Maher. I've taken several shots of him, but for this particular shot I rotated the camera during the (relatively) long shutter. This (along with the flash) caused the background to swirl while he remained mostly sharp.

Image 3: April's a beautiful girl, and we captured some much more flattering shots of her that evening. However, I ended up liking this shot best. Why? The light isn't coming from a direction where I typically use a mainlight (so high up). However, her eyes are still sufficiently lit to pull you in. To me, it's a much more interesting shot--there is a punchy realism to the image that retains my attention more so than the other shots did.

I agree with your comments, specially with the 3rd pix.[H] I'm intrigued with the 2nd pix.[:^)] Have you got more shots like this and if it's not too much ask could you please post these with data and info as I would like to try this myself. Thanks Sean. Your Grass Hopper. Wally [:$]
