A little question for all the landscape photographers. What do you call that ray and cloud formation as shown in this picture?

In the games industry we always called them "God Rays". No idea what anybody else calls them.

Oh, ok... Maybe you had crepuscular in mind? I didn't Google it, although I wasn't positive on my spelling. Fortunately, all I had to get was crepus and my iPhone took care of the rest.

Damn, that's exactly what I was going to say.
And coincidentally, I shot some like that this morning too (I was already late for work so what's wrong with another 5 mins taking a photo on the way?)

Those things have always reminded me of either a Bugs Bunny cartoon, think the 'What's Opera Doc' scene with the rays shining down on the fat horse. Otherwise I half except a foot to come down out of them and step on something...

I also call it "irritating", because the camera never has the dynamic range to capture this in its total full glory.
