Intro and some pics, be gentle!!!

    Hi All
I'm new to all this so wanted to post some pics I've taken over the past year or so. I've been bothering some of you for advice and have had some really great feedback to improve with. I'm posting these to try and get some more hints and tips about composition etc. Hope you like, looking forward to your comments
    Thanks
    Edd

I like them all and don't see anything of significance to point out or suggest--except to say very good job, indeed.

Very nice and varied set of photos! My favorite is the Colosseum shot at night. On the first one, maybe there is some lens distortion at work, but the base of the fountain appears to be slightly at an angle. I might play ever so slightly with the straighten tool. The angle is enough that my eye was immediately drawn to it, but not enough to qualify as an artistic touch. Keep 'em coming!

Looks like you used a ND filter on most of these shots.
Can you post the details of filter type and settings.
Was there actually advertisement on the Colleseum or is that post production?

There was advertisement on the Colleseum that night, a police marching band!

I only have access to the details of a couple as I broke my laptop screen!

    Eiffel 3: f/3.5, 1/13s, 18mm, ISO800, exp -0.7

    Rome: f/11, 6s, 47mm, ISO200

No filters used as I didn't have any!

    Thanks

    Edd
