Cavanaugh Flight Museum
Yes another aviation related thread I just wanted to put a plug in for the folks at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison Texas. If you ever get the chance to visit, don't miss out - it’s a fantastic museum full of vintage aircraft and most still fly and fly often. The day I visited it was cold and rainy, but the folks went way out of their way to make sure everyone there had a great time even though they couldn't put anything in the air. They even pulled a P-40 Warhawk out into the rain and ran up the engine just so folks could hear the sound of that awesome Allison. Anyway, it's an awesome place and I will be going back often - hopefully someday to hop in Brat III for a ride, gotta start saving my pennies!
Here are a few photos, all of these were taken with a Nikon D7000 with a 18-200mm lens that I was trying out. You will notice a lot of distortion with that lens in some of the photos. Not a bad camera, just not a Canon
