That location would be a good one to return to at different times of year and different weather.
Thanks! And you're right... it is a good location to return to. I did this shot a month later, composing the same image from memory. As it turned out, I managed to nail it --- the two scenes match perfectly.

Meanwhile, I'm very much enjoying the excellent submissions so far on this assignment --- keep them coming!

    Thanks

Sorry, I'm not trying to be a rip off artist of gkphoto's idea, but my best road picture is also a light trail. This is a 1.6 second exposure at f/8 taken with a 60D and 135L.

no worries Dave, yours is a city setting, mine is a rural mountain road, no real similarities . I like the hints of red coming through the trees on your shot.

Some very nice shots so far for this assignment. JRW...I really like that shot of the runners. Great composition.

I was back in the Palouse for an early Christmas this past weekend and was able to shoot this shot for the assignment.

Here is my entry. Snow is rare around here, but sometimes on Mount Hamilton you find some.

This is my first post to this forum. I thought that this road photo would work for this assignment.

I'd like to submit this to replace my earlier entry (if the assignment is still open)...
