Andy, that is an awesome shot on the rocks. I am terrified of heights so cudos on the shot.

Fascinating shots here. I love year end wrap-ups. Nice work everyone.

These are my top 5, but the rest are on my blog. Thought I'd change it up a bit since I don't photograph much but macro and my kids.

Wow! Many of you have EXCELLENT photos... Johnathan, I love the Snowy Owl and the train in the winter scene... I'd LOVE to be able to see something like that.

    Edd:

Thank you for the kind words. Both were shot with a 7D and a 24-105mm f/4L lens.

    #2: 24mm, ISO=100, f/18, and 25 sec.

    #4: 28mm ISO=100, f/16, and 3.2 sec.

All - A lot of great shots getting posted here.

Thanks, Jayson and others. You may have guessed that I can't take the credit for the picture of me on the rock, but it still counts as one of my best memories from 2012 so I included it here. It could have ended horribly if I tried to run to the edge before the ten second timer elapsed...

Funny you should say that since I'd be the idiot who would try that. (if I wasn't scared of heights)
