Finally went to do some night shots. I actually tried to catch the golden hour on Mount Hamilton, but arrived too late, so I thought I might as well stay a bit and see what the night brings. The moon was too bright for starscapes, but it illuminated the 120inch telescope nicely. And I did not have a flashlight, so I accepted it gladly

and this one would be called : "Moving Subject" The telescope was spinning as if they were playing carousel for a children's party, many times right in the middle of an exposure. I also got a few with the lights on inside the telescope, but I did not manage to get a really good shot of that.

How about you and I go up there one night with a bucket of red paint and a big brush?

This is probably a little late for a photo of the week (last week that is), but I'll submit it anyway. Was attempting a high key image, but ended up liking it a bit more contrasty.

    Some great shots coming in.
Entries close this Sunday. We made the first one a week and a half just to get started.
So my time Sunday night, we'll close it and if you miss the cut off, well you just go into week#2.

That's very good will have to try this myself.
It would be interesting to see what this shot would be like if you allow only the eyes to have colour.

Love it! The right side of her face looks a little hot but that may have been your intention. Beautiful image of your beautiful daughter :-)
