    Thanks again Steve for letting me choose, but this isn't the easiest task as everyone posted wonderful images this past week. Well here goes for the WINNERS:

    1. LANDSCAPE goes to Sean Setters for FIREWORKS ON THE RIVER. Both the framing and exposure are perfection here. Sean makes shooting fireworks look like it's easy-peasy, but from first hand experience I know this not to be the case. Congrats!

    2. PORTRAIT goes to Joel for BLUE JAY. It's photographs like these that keep me from doing bird photography! This is [pure top shelf quality. The feathers on this creature look as if they were stained glass. The clarity of the subject and creamy background stand strong on their own, and when put together, WHOA!
