    Yes that would probably suit it better, given the expression! The marmot was actually letting out a piercing whistle, which was incredibly loud. But it wasn't annoyed by my being there... it sat down and sunned itself shortly thereafter.

    David thanks for your comment! Your church shot is awesome... The lighting is very dramatic, especially with the moon. You were obviously up late!

    Yessir, I got out of work at 230am and had my camera gear on me because I was at the beach prior. That church is spotlighted throughout the night and it was on my route home so I figured, "Why not?" I was just lucky to catch the moon when I did. There was barely any breaks in the clouds.

    Sometimes it pays off to always have your gear with you. My stuff might qualify for having done the most trips (to and from work) without seeing any use, but there were these few occasions where I was glad I had it with me :-)

    Great shots everyone! The "Fairway Fiend" is great - what a subject.
