Really cool shot. I have been think a lot lately of taking pictures like the one you posted here, and it is that desire that has put this lens at the top of my wish list. However, I may have to opt for the sigma 18-35 f/1.8 instead since it seems to look better on a crop body based on Bryan's testing, and his review he posted today. Again... well done, and well worth the couple of hours.

Thanks! You could be right, but I'm also curious if living here makes me a Canmoron..?

Thanks Pat, and yes that lens review does look very good! You're probably right that the 18-35 would be better for the crop body. The 24 mm prime is just barely wide enough for sky shots on a full-frame body, but I'm definitely happy with it.

Fantastic shot Steve. I wish my self portraits looked as compelling. Great work!

Steve, that self-portrait is superb and should be entered in many contests! A sure winner IMO!

Thank you Denise and Brian, but you guys probably just don't worry enough.
The treatment and processing on that rose is just superb Denise.

Here is my portrait attempt from a zoo in Norway. I don't often post nowadays, too busy. But I follow the threads to get inspiration.
