One of the many flowers growing in my garden. Do not know what variety it is, so I call this one "Wild Flower"

Granddaughter is quite the cutie - I assume the grandson as well.

Well I have done some thinking on the weeks picks, lots of great entries.

For the portrait, I am going to pick Pat's "Reality of Nature". Since I am kind of a bug guy, I know how hard it is to catch one of those little dudes. To actually get it having a snack is that much cooler.

For landscape, I am going to pick Dave's "Gonic Falls".

There were a lot of great entries in the competition this week and it was a tough choice.

Thank you, and I thank my wife for calling me on my drive home to tell me she had a praying mantis cornered eating a moth. By the time I pulled up into the driveway, she had my camera out and ready to go; and then she got my bag of goodies and tripod out for me. How lucky am I.

Jayson - Thank you for judging... after judging last week, I know it is not easy to choose. There were a lot of great shots.
