Should have cropped that right hand corner, didn't look as bad on black.

Here is my entry. I was getting out my gear when my son wanted to help out taking a few shots. after I was done I setup my stuff so he could take some portraits of his monkey.

My son was taking a picture of his monkey with the 6D and 50mm f/1.4. I took the behind the scenes shot with a 60D and 40mm f/2.8 pancake.

This is also the first image I've tried the VSCO film affects on and I think I like it. I was hesitant to try it out but so far I'm liking the results. This is one of the classic film effects but I don't recall which one.

the first one i was just driving around and happend to see a bunch of deer. I was pretty far and only had a 200mm lens so i couldnt crop very much , but i still like it.

i noticed a little creek at the bottom of a gulley while driving so i pulled over and snaped a few pics at the bottom. it was nice and quiet , all you could hear was water trickling.

Virtually all my shots are landscapes, so I should start balancing that off a bit with a portrait once in a while. Here's one of me and my smarter half, a little ways north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, a few days ago. This shot was a group effort --- I set it up, another person clicked the shutter, and a third person operated the flashlight.

Here's my, what else but a shot of one of my grand kids, playing on the beach which looks like a muddy affair.

I attended a Beach Wedding couple years ago, and the boys obviously had enough of the all the hustle and bustle and decided to escape. They were unaware that it was an out going Tide...

Wally I really like the "long wait" shot a lot. It definitely tells a story! And the fact that there's a sailboat out in the distance makes us complete the dream in the boy's mind.
