If Money not really the Main Issue...

Question: If money were not the main issue, would you prefer the Canon 6D with EF 24-105mm f4 IS or the Canon 70D with EF-S 17-55 f2.8 IS? Love street portraits, and low light photography. Also wish to study B&W. Thanks for your feedback!

The 6D over the 70D and possibly think about a prime for the kind of photography you are talking about.
The FF camera will give you more creative ability, however the 24-105mm will limit that to some extent.

If money were not the main issue, I would get the 24-70mm f/2.8 II. It appears money may be an issue.

6D with 24-105L, no question. You mention 'low light' and FF is a much better choice, the ~2 stops lower ISO noise more than makes up for the 1 stop between the lenses. A prime like the 35/2 IS on the 6D would be great for nighttime street photography. If you'd said sports, my answer would b different...

6D and the Zeiss 100/2 Makro Planar and the Zeiss 50mm Makro and the Zeiss 21mm and the Zeiss 15mm, and while we're at it the Zeiss 135/2.

Leica M 240 + 50/2 APO ASPH 'cron (if money were really not an issue for street shooting).

But if we're sticking Canon, then I suppose the 6D + 40mm pancake or 35/2 IS for 'discrete-street', or 70D + 40mm pancake or 55/1.4 Otus for 'street portraits' (where you want an effectively longer lens).
An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

5dIII or d800 w/ Jenoptic 60 I would like to see how resolved the 60 is on the d800.

I think Roger at LensRentals.com has made some comments about this lens (coastal optics 60mm) compared to the new Zeiss Otus and their resolving power. I don't think either lens exceeds the resolving power of the D800 sensor.
