    Image of the Week #23

    Hi Everyone. Just helping to keep these going.

    Entry period will be from Sunday to Sunday, with this week closing on the 15th December.
    Only two categories; Portrait and Landscape
    Portrait- Anything with eyes, people, animals
    Landscape- Country, town, city, sea, abstract, things (water drops, smoke, flowers, candles and so on)

    Each category will have a winner each week and this week will hopefully be judged by JRW.
    Steve will be setting up a monthly poll shortly.

    Please supply a title for your image and what category you are entering in. Enter as many times as like, old or new images.

    Thought I'd kick this off. I was out chasing Snowy Owls Saturday afternoon. I did see one, but through brush. This ended up as my favorite shot of the day.

    I found some ice. This is a 6 shot stack of an ice ball stuck to my snowflake glove. I left it a little too close to the grill last night.

    I have not submitted anything in quite a while. I got a new camera and have had zero time to use it (very annoying). I finally got out this morning to get some shots of a lighthouse, but when I saw that they had pulled a big Christmas tree into town on a sled, I decided to stop and get an early morning shot.

    EF 24mm f/1.4 @ f/2, 1/5 sec, ISO 100
