Hi Folks. Wow these are tough to judge. Some really stellar work here. My choices for this week:
Portrait: Joel's "A close up of a Bluejay" - I love the sharpness and the golden spiral aspect. Just a flawless image. Well done, Joel.
Landscape: Andy's "Defensive Measures" - I waffled on this for a while because there are several great landscape shots here, but Andy uses Depth of Field superbly here. The background is OOF, but not so much that you can't see what it is. It gives the whole image great depth and lets you feel what the original gunners must have felt. I can clearly envision shells from this gun exploding along the far shoreline during target practice. Nice work, Andy.
