    2014 - Image of the Week #17

    This entry period for Week 17 will be from Monday April 21st through/including Sunday April 27th.

    Only two categories of images will be judged:


    1. Portraits -- Anything with eyes; people or animals
    2. Landscape -- Country, town, city, sea, abstract, things (water drops, smoke, flowers, candles, and so on)


    Each category will have a single winner each week. This week will be judged by Sean Setters

    Please supply a title for your image and which category it is entering. Enter as many times as you would like, old or new images.

    Hey now - I usually get taken out by a cute baby or something with wings. I was considering only posting baby birds from now on just to cover both bases...

    Landscape entry for week #17 (also entered in the Spring has Sprung assignment) : "This Old House" is an HDR image made from 3 exposures bracketed at -2, 0, +2 hand held using the 1DX and the 24-70mm f/2.8L. Processed with Photomatix Pro and Photoshop CC.

    Here is a 2 minute exposure on a windy, wavy day at Silver Lake with the Lake Michigan sand dunes in the back ground. The Dunes are between Silver Lake and Lake Michigan.
    Taken Friday night.
