Portrait Entry - Looking for Trouble

A recent family session photo. This little guy was all over the place. I spent most of the session chasing him around trying to get him to sit still for a minute or two. I had to lay on the bridge to get him to do the same. All in all, it was a lot of fun!

I checked the sky one more time before I went to bed last night, and it had finally cleared up. The sky was very clear and the Milky Way was showing up really well. So I grabbed my camera, tripod, intervolometer, and the 24mm f/1.4 II and headed to a nearby lake where I could get the Milky Way over the lake (and it was only 5-10 minutes away). Unfortunately, in the short time it took me to get there, it clouded up and I missed my chance for getting stars. So I tried to make the best of it and actually ended up liking the colors that were coming of the clouds and the reflection.
