2015 Image of the Week #8

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

There will be only one weekly winner.

    • This entry period for Week 8 will be from Monday February 16th through/including Sunday February 22nd.
    • Please supply a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.

This week will be judged by DavidEccleston.

    Good luck!!

    "Sun's Rays"
Taken with a 6 stop ND filter to capture the clouds movements.

    "Portrait Painting"
I have always wanted to try smudge painting and Valentine's Day brought on this opportunity. It was very time consuming, but a whole lot of fun. Definitely doing that again.

    Jerrytech1,

I look at this photo "Owl Scowl" and can't help but wonder how many times I've walked right past a photo like this and never had a clue it was there!!

Sunrise Snowscape....this was my yard today following a very unusual heavy snow here in Kentucky (12-14 inches). We see snow regularly in winter but this much only happens every decade or so!

Playing around with my 100-400 II and snapped this one of my new roommate's cat. Wish I had stopped down a little bit so I could have caught her other eye better, but I do like how it turned out.
